I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, but I'll ask anyway...
I have a postfix/courier-imap mail server that works just fine if I am sending to a local user (as in:
user@localdomain.xxx, where 'localdomain.xxx' is the dnsdomainname of the server). I can send and receive e-mail just fine. I've tried to set up a virtual domain following on-line FAQ's and How-To's I've found on the internet and things are SORTA working, but...
Whenever I receive email for a user at the virtual domain, postfix errors with the following error:
Code:
Apr 27 07:21:02 tree-stand postfix/virtual[15103]: 6EF8DB5410: to=<user@virtualdomain.xxx>, relay=virtual, delay=0, status=deferred (mailbox ///home/user/.maildir: cannot open file: Permission denied)
For the local domain, I get the following message after a successful delivery:
Code:
Apr 27 07:21:02 tree-stand postfix/local[15101]: 822A4B5414: to<user@localdomain.xxx>, relay=local, delay=0, status=sent (maildir)
Apr 27 07:21:02 tree-stand postfix/cleanup[15098]: A9148B5416: message-id=<20040427122103.BEF5B7C087@smtp1.wirelessinbox.com>
Both e-mails were sent from the same remote client (my cell phone).
Anyone have any clue where I need to look next?
Thanks in advance!
