Postfix and an SSL Error

Good Day

I have installed a mail server following a guide at hughesjr.com. that is it has been installed as DoveCot, MailScanner, ClamAV, SquirrelMail, and SpamAssassin.I have configured a mail Server using the above guide, The problem I am having is that when I try to send mail from Mail clients I get the following error

Protocol SMTP,Port 25:Secure (SSL): YEs Socket Error 10061 Error Number 0x800CCC0E

I know I am missing something very simple, what could it be??

These are the last four lines in my /etc/postfix/main.cf file, and I assume the error has something to do with this??

smtpd_sasl_auth_enable = yes
smtpd_sasl_security_options = noanonymous
broken_sasl_auth_clients = yes

smtpd_recipient_restrictions = permit_sasl_authenticated, permit_mynetworks, reject_unauth_destination

Anyone have any idea

Kind Regards
Shawn

Hi

At a quick glance I would say that you haven't installed your SSL certificates.

Richard.

As far as I can tell by Googling, it's Outlook trying to use an SSL connection. In the Outlook configuration, there is an option for something like "The outgoing (SMTP) server requires a secure (SSL) connection". Make sure that option is not selected, i.e. uncheck the box.
