Angry Possible problem caused by KNewsticker?

Hello everyone,

I am using Knewsticker which seem to configure and work very well on KDE 3.4 (FC3). Only problem is, kicker freezes up as soon as i run Knewsticker. I can activate or deactivate windows from the panel nor change from one desktop to another.

Although Alt-tab and other shortcuts work, I'd like to know whether this can be fixed or is a bug being fixed by developers.

I also get the following message right after I exit KNewsTicker:


KDEInit could not launch 'appletproxy'.

The best place to check whether its a bug or not is at bugs.kde.org. Sometimes these problems are introduced by the distro during packaging, so you may also want to check the FC website for known bugs/problems.
