pmsuspend2. Can no longer boot

I was trying to investigate how to make it so that Mandrake 9.2 wouldn't freeze when the lid is closed.

I saw a program called "pmsuspend2" and decided to try it out. I ran it and it seemed to suspend fine. The computer turned off.

When I try to turn it on now, I get a screen that says Booting from Disk (or something) and then "Cleaning Up"... and there it stays. There is no way to cancel it or anything.

Is there anything I can do to fix it? Or at least to return to normal boot? I appreciate your help.

I managed to solve this problem by resinstalling lilo using this config file.

Code:

[joseamuniz@localhost joseamuniz]$ cat /etc/lilo.conf
boot=/dev/hda
map=/boot/map
vga=normal
default="Linux"
keytable=/boot/us.klt
prompt
nowarn
timeout=100
message=/boot/message
menu-scheme=wb:bw:wb:bw
image=/boot/vmlinuz
        label="Linux"
        root=/dev/hda5
        initrd=/boot/initrd.img
        append="devfs=mount hdc=ide-scsi splash=silent"
        vga=788
        read-only
other=/dev/hda2
        label="Windows"
        table=/dev/hda
