[SOLVED] Pls recommend a good Forum software (Open Source)...

Hello,

There are quite a number of choices to choose from but if my requirement is:
1. Runs on Linux (Ubuntu Server 11.04)
2. Easy to administer (possibly via browser instead of SSH, or at least at a minimum)

Can anyone give any suggestions and/or experience on what you are currently using?

There are so many of those around. I personally have used phpBB and liked it, but that was years ago. You should have a go at them yourself and see which one fits your needs. Most of them come with a browser interface for administration. You can have a look at this site to compare functionality between them.
