Please help - Can't install mplayer

I tried first to install some codecs for Kaffeine but installation always failed. Then I thought could maybe try MPlayer, and downloaded derfor:

mad-0.15.1b-1.pm.3.i586.rpm
MPlayer-1.0pre8-2.i586.rpm
MPlayer-1.0pre8-2.src.rpm
x264-0.0svn20060425-1.i586.rpm
xvid-1.1.0-0.pm.4.i586.rpm
I used Konqueror and right click - open with install software.
I entered my root password..

All of this rpm's failed to install..

I got this error:

1. "Installing MPlayer-1.0pre8-2.i586[Local packages]
Can't install MPlayer-1.0pre8-2.i586[Local packages], since MPlayer-1.0pre8-2.i586[Local packages] is already marked as needing to be installed

Am I doing something wrong? Are there so many corrupted rpm's for download or I am doing something wrong, or is it something wrong with my Suse 10.1 (KDE)?
I can't play anything with my video player (Kafeine), can't install anything, It's so frustrating..
I know that both players need codecs. I found them but I can't install them.. Is that happening only for me?
Please help.

I never got mplayer working on SuSE 10 but I did find this website that showed me how to add w32codecs so I could use another player. You just have to add one of the sources to YaST.
