Playstation on Linux

Has anyone got ePSXe, Pcsx or any other playstation emulator to get running on linux successfully? I tried Pcsx with Pete's graphics [SoftOps] and sound[OSS] plugins with a CDR ISO plugin to play a PlayStation image on my harddrive [StreetFighter EX + alpha]. With Pcsx, it loads, but slowly [I have a SiS 305 graphics card with DRI Support (slightly buggy though), so I thought I should be getting it to run better.] So I tried the linux version of ePSXe, my favourite PS I emulator in Windows, but this doesn't work at all [even after trying the ePSXe on linux how-to by PsyQ (http://terror.snm-hgkz.ch/gaming/linux/epsxe_howto/ )]. If there is anyone who actually got it right, any help would be appreciated.
