I'm trying to install a Windows Steam game on Zorin OS. I've tried to install Windows Steam through PlayOnLinux. I've managed to get to the log in screen and log into my account. However, a small window shows up saying that it is connecting to Steam. I waited for a while, but eventually the program stops responding and crashes.

Now, I managed to get passed that one time (no longer able to get there again) to the point of where I could browse my Steam games. The only problem after that is that I can't install a game, it says it is preparing for installation, but nothing happens after that. I'm not able to get to that point again, however. I didn't change the configs after that, it just stopped getting to that point.

Edit: Ok, so about getting past the point of the logging in screen... I think that maybe pretty random. Without changing the settings, sometimes I get past the logging in screen and sometimes I do. Managed to get past the log in screen and tried to install a game. It has been saying that it is preparing files to install, but nothing has happened.

Did you use the PlayOnLinux's script for installing steam?
