PlayOnLinux "ImportError: No module named wxversion

I have Slackware 12, and I'm using the default version of Python that comes with Slack. Python 2.5 I believe.
I also have Wine 0.9.55 installed.

I downloaded and untarred the file. I couldn't find the README at all... so I typed $playonlinux into the terminal, hoping that it would just work. Nope.
I guess it's idiotic, but I put $playonlinux in again after it failed the first time.

Code:
_@abp:~/dnlds/Wine0.9.55_RootMade$ tar -zxvf PlayOnLinux_2.0.9.tar.gz
...
[long list of files]
...
_@abp:~/dnlds/Wine0.9.55_RootMade$ cd playonlinux
_@abp:~/dnlds/Wine0.9.55_RootMade/playonlinux$ ls
LICENCE bash/ bin/ etc/ lang/ lib/ playonlinux* python/ src/ themes/
_@abp:~/dnlds/Wine0.9.55_RootMade/playonlinux$ playonlinux

In the middle, right around
Code:

it downloaded fonts from sourceforge.

It seems like your application requires wxpython as a dependency.

I'm not sure what wxpython is.
Can you tell me where I could find this? Perhaps it is something that is supposed to be on Slackware already.

Its usually not installed by default. You can download it from linuxpackages or if you prefer to compile from source, get it from the wxpython website.
