Playlist problem with Audacious 3.2.4

I've just installed Fedora 17 with Mint 13, and using Audacious in both. In Mint it loads and plays my saved playlist fine, in Fedora it gives a "Cannot open [file] No such file or directory." for each song on the playlist. It's the same playlist file being loaded, same path, songs are all in the same place (external drive).
Why will Audacious in Fedora not read the playlist if Audacious in Mint will/can/does?

I saved a playlist in Audacious under Fedora and tried to open it in Mint, and got the error previously seen in Fedora. Looking at the filepaths given, there's a /run prefixed to the paths that Audacious in Fedora saved, and which it presumably is looking for when opening a playlist. Any ideas how to change or stop it appending to the path?

In the config file it has this same appended path, but then I don't see why it wouldn't affect Audacious in Mint too (since it's a shared home directory between o/ses)
