Pipe telnet session output to text file

I need someone to point me in the right direction. Basically, I need to pipe the output of a telnet session to a text file.

I need to be able to telnet into a network electronics device, run commands that produce a output that has about 10 full screens or more worth of data, and pipe this output to a text file.

I have tried a few different google searches, but just can't get going in the right direction. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OS: RH9

Simplest thing would probably be to use the script command.

You are right...probably the easiest to use, but it is a bit ugly. I would have to weed out too much garbage.

Any other suggestions?
