Unhappy Pine smtp trouble

Hey guys, how are you doing?
I recently set up a mail account at softhome.net.
I also installed pine, and configured it. I can check my mail (pop3) with pine, but i can't send mail
I get an error stating "552: relaying not allowed. has your account...." (note the acount..., from there the line stops (pine screen is too small)). The smtp server i set pine to use is mail.softhome.net, as specified in the softhome faq. I also tried with mx1.hotmail.com as smtp server, but then i got the error "wrong address" when sending to my own softhome address, but i didnt get that error sending to a hotmail address so i guess that is just hotmails prob. Could anybody plz help me out (or give me a smtp server that works )?
