pine email setup question

Hey guys, Iam just trying to setup pine.. and i want to config it to use my ISP's email account. they use smtp/pop3 and i find no area where to put my username and password to authenticate...

and so far this is what i have setup in the config

This is really confusing lol..

Can anyone help ?

When you first start up Pine, it will automatically try to connect to your Server. After connecting, using the username from the configuration file, it should prompt you for your password.

ok well.. ya its odd then.. first off when i go to compose a msg it gives me unixboxname@isp.com

which it shouldnt be.. then it just wont connect to anything...

i dono what to do lol pines site is not really much help with this

here is a site about configuring pine to connect to an exchange server, but the idea should be the same regardless of the server.

Ya i basically followed that, and it comes up with the same result.. heres what happenes..

I can send out emails noo problem.. but i cant send them to my ISP email because it has my unixboxname@isp.com and i cant find a way to change that ?

is it actually possible for pine to act like a email reader/sender?
