Pidgin: Yahoo server refuses my connection
 

Is anyone having connecting problems in Pidgin? It is not the same problem discussed in http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...issues-734594/ ; I changed the server address as instructed by the site it linked to. Now it says "could not establish a connection with the server: connection refused." It must be a Pidgin problem, because I can connect using Kopete.

It's a known problem. Just check do a search for pidgin yahoo on this site and you'll see the problem and the solution.
