I have got mysql installed on RHEL4 system and service is running fine. Can access it through terminal. I do not know mysql much so for easy accessing installed phpmyadmin through yum.
The server is also running http service and it is running fine.
But when I try to use phpmyadmin web admin window through browser it gives me error "Forbidden. You do not have permission for accessing phpmyadmin on this server".
Now what kind of permissions is this server talking about? I tried to access it from localhost and client machine both and same error.
My client is running Ubuntu Hardy.
I found it. I can get index.php page for phpmyadmin. But I can not figure why it is asking for some secret pass phrase? I do not even know what it is. I never gave it. It says configuration file now needs blowfish_secret pass phrase.
