PHP testing in Fedor Core 5

Anybody know how to setup fedora 5 so I can test .html and .php sites?
I tried placing the files in /var/www/html/ and then typing http://localhost/ into my web browser, I just get a "403 Forbidden" page.

You might want to play with the permissions. Who is the owner of the file, can be read and executed by everybody or just the owner, folder permissions etc.
