it gives this error when i try run any php-gtk program. i've checked, there is /usr/lib/php4/php_gtk.so and /usr/lib/php4/ directory is the extension directory at the /etc/php.inc file.

Doesn't help much but I have exactly the same problem.
Will keep hacking and let you know when(if) I find the answer.
