php compile problem


Here is the output I get when trying to configure php.


[root@mail php-4.3.2]# ./configure

checking for bison... no
checking for byacc... no
configure: warning: You will need bison if you want to regenerate the PHP parsers.

configure: error: cannot find output from lex; giving up


Any suggestion as to what I need to install?

I ended up giving up on it and installing redhat 7.0. I got everything working fine after I did that.
