php 4.1.2 -> 4.3.2 rh7.2

I really need to upgrade to php 4.3.2 for a project I'm working on. Up until now I've just used up2date in order to update all my packages, but the highest redhat has for 7.2 is 4.1.2. I've googled and asked in #redhat, I've ended up with the 4.3.2.src.rpm. I've tried just installing straight from the source I downloaded from php.net. So far, nothing is working for me. Can someone please help me upgrade from 4.1.2 to 4.3.2 on a rh7.2 install. I'm pretty much begging here.
