Photo Printing
I tried a search first, but came up with two old posts (older than a year) and thought I'd fish for a newer, more up-to-date solution.
I'm rather new to Linux and I'm just having a blast. I've been hunting around for replacement software (stuff that I'm used to doing in windows) and I've been doing very well finding not only replacement stuff, but what I believe is BETTER stuff. Until now... ugh. Anyway, here it is: I've got a Canon i960-- I downloaded a neat little program called TurboPrint which makes it very easy to print to. However, in Windows, I was able to basically lay out a 8.5 x 11 piece of photo paper and print several pictures on the page at once. I'm wondering if anyone here has any suggestions on a decent application to do this? I'm running Suse 9.1 and KDE 3.2. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a million, CP |
bump... sorry desparate-- my wife is going to kill me if I don't print some pictures tonight!

you might try write or draw in Open Office and see if those will let you do that. i have never tried but in windows i just use word to layout the # of pic i want to print and then adjust my printer to photo quality.

Hey, that's not a bad idea and simple, too. I'll give it a shot. Thanks,
