phoenix basic

i get this from trying to install phoenix basic (http://www.janus-software.com/phoenix_features.html)
error: Failed dependencies:
libpng.so.2 is needed by phoenix-1.5-6
normally id just install libpng.so.2, but the last time i tryed to install something libpng related KDE broke. is there a way i can fill this dependencie whilst making sure that i wont break my system? as i dont want to take the risk of recking kde again!

Thanks.

Try making a symbolic link from libpng.so.2 to libpng.so in /usr/lib. You will also get another error about libGL.so.1. Your setup may vary. If you do not have libpng, then install it. I did this and it worked. I have libpng.so.3.
