Persistent Error
[root@linux_drugs]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd start
Starting httpd: Syntax error on line 329 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf: Invalid command 'Order', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration I get this error whenever I try to start Apache, funny thing is, I reinstalled Apache from scratch, ereased the Apache dir, remove the httpd.conf file, reinstalled Apache again and I'm still getting this error. What Gives? |
It sounds like then that red hat has a little bug in it that installs Apache with a syntax error on that line of the .conf file. If you can open the file and scroll down to line , say 320 and copy from there to 330 and post that here, there is probably just a misscoded line etc..as the error suggests...

heh... how about you check line 329 of your httpd.conf file?
sometimes actually reading the error message helps. :-P |
