Perl SDL2 install problem

Hi all!

I am usng Ubuntu Drapper or what is it's name. I want to install Perl_SDL library. I downloaded the package from CPAN.org but when trying to install I get an error message:
Code:
Warning: this distribution contains XS files, but Module::Build is not configured with C_support at /usr/local/share/perl/5.8.7/Module/Build/Base.pm line 1128.
Checking prerequisites...
It is just a warning, but the Build Build test and sudo Build install does not work. I installed libextutils-*-perl to be sure everything is installed but still does not work. What can be a the problem?
The apt-get install libsdl-perl installes sdl1 that does not support everything I need.

Dani
