PDF Plugin for Iceweasel 3.5 on Debian Squeeze 2

I extracted the 2 files below from the AdobeReader_enu-7.0.9-1.i386.tar.gz I found on the Internet.
I tried to do this by bringing nppdf.so in /usr/lib/mozilla plugins and copied acroread (the exec) to /usr/bin (in the path)
Last time I did an alien -i on such a package it didn't do any good.
Your advice please.

Add the debian-multimedia.org repo to your sources.list then apt-get update, apt-get install acroread mozilla-acroread

$ apt-cache policy mozilla-acroread
mozilla-acroread:

Candidate: 9.4.2-0.0
Version table:
*** 9.4.2-0.0 0

100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

apt-cache policy acroread

Solved: that was easy

I undid what I did just before. If you want a "conseil" a la Don Cherry:"Always do your backtracking and clean your act boy."

Then I followed your instruction and guess what, no sweat no surprise it works.

I disabled the multi media call in the source list a long time ago when this facility was offline for a few month.

And like they say : "Always do your backtracking and clean your act boy."

Thanks,
