PDF and PS to HTML


I need to convert some PDF's and PS's to HTML. What program would be recommeded for this, on Fedora Core 4 with KDE? Thank you in advance.

you could try:

ps2html
pdftohtml

Thank you, I just tried pdftohtml. The HTML it produced was just a bunch of numbers, each on it's own line. That may be because the PDF was in Hebrew?

Have you tried viewing the HTML page in a browser?
If the numbers are like &xxx; then they're simple HTML encoded characters.

See W3C's pages for more info on special characters.
(http://www.w3.org)

W3C are the people that develop and maintain the HTML standards (if I'm not mistaken).

Yes, of course I tried in a browser. Firefox, to be specific.

What kind of character encoding does the HTML page use?
You can find that at the top in the HTML file.
