.PDF and .CHM to .TXT converter
 
Hi all!

I have a lot of e-books in .PDF and .CHM formats on my hard drive. I want to convert them to .TXT so i can read them on my Sony Ericsson w850 java phone.....which programs could i use for that?

Nice link for the CHM files. But it doesn't mention ps2ascii. I think this is part of the ghostscript package on Debian. It will dump ps or pdf files into ascii text.

Thaks for the replies, i've converted my e-books to .html and can read them on my phone's inbuilt browser...Very cool! :) Many Thanks!
