Thumbs down Patch not apply and tell me "file to Patch" :(


Hello.
I want to apply a Patch but it show me "File to Patch". Any idea?

You seem to be in the wrong directory (usually you patch from inside /usr/local/src/thething/ and not in /usr/local/src directly).

You also seem to be using the wrong -p option, maybe -p1 instead of -p0.

In general it's hard to tell what the right options are without knowing where the files are.

The "/usr/local/src" is empty and Kali Linux not have any Kernel Source
