Passing a filename onto a program in Wine

How do i pass a filename onto a program?
Ive been using Quickpar which is a recovery system for rar,etc files.
When you double click a par file in windows quickpar automaticly checks the archive.
If I do this in KDE all that happens is Quickpar opens
I dont know what switches/arguments to use .

I need to find the wine eqivelant of this
"C:\Program Files\QuickPar\QuickPar.exe" "%1"

Its a bit like double clicking an mp3 and just xmms or winamp opening
and not loading up and playing the file

Theres got to be an easier way than typing it in for every new file?
example,
If you find your Kmenu editor and the entry for xmms or amarok you will see the command
amarok %U %M or something like that (using windows now)
These commands (%U %M) pass the filename onto xmms etc so the program opens those files.

Its the equivelant if these commands that I need help with.
