Hello, I am a new user to Linux and i would like to know if i can use package manager of other vendors to my Slackware Linux version. The only reaso that i want to do that is because i can install easily programs.
For example i would like to know if i can use PORTAGE (gentoo) to my Slackware.

WHY would you want to RUIN Slackware with Gentoo nonsense???
IF you are going to use Slack then learn how to use its tools...........
Slackware has one of the easiest packaging systems around once you get the hang of it. or you can still use some easy tools like kpackage, slackins, etc. Thoose are gui tools if simplicity is what you want.
