Package Installation
 

Hi guys,

I am new with Linux, so any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to install the latest version of Apache webserver,
php and mysql.

However, my current version of RH9 already have those s/w
installed. Do I need to uninstall all these packages first before I
install the newer version?

If yes, can anyone please tell me how to uninstall these packages? ( I tried to uninstall some of these packages thru the X11 interface, however it wouldn't allow me to so due to interdependencies.
