Oracle as a service on 2 node RHEL cluster?

Hello everyone,
I have setup 2 node rhel cluster. Both nodes are online and working fine. Now i need to add oracle database as a service to the cluster. If one node shuts down, the other must operate.
According to all the tutorials on the web, A GFS file storage cluster has to be setup. Can it be done on a NFS? Is it even possible? I have so far set up rhel cluster and mounted nfs as shared storage on both nodes.
Am i doing it the right way?

So, based on the documentation and what you posted, you NEED TO USE GFS, and decided to use NFS instead....and are wondering if you did it right, when you, yourself, said the documentation tells you to use GFS?

GFS is specified for a reason. If you want to know more, then you need to contact either Oracle or Red Hat, since AGAIN, both of those are commercial, PAY-FOR products, and you are paying for support and access to their knowledgebase.
