Unhappy Oracle 9i on Red Hat Linux Enterprise 3 (WS)

Hello all,

I am trying to install Oracle 9i on my Linux Red Hat Enterprise 3 Server (WS Edition). That is right, WS edition (not ES or AS). I don't know if any one of you has done this before ????

And at the same time, you are giving us nothing at all to work with. What problems are you encountering? Why are you only "trying"? Why not just do it?

Once I had a problem with installing software on a AS 2.1, it would only install on a AS 2 system, I had to mislead that program by only changing the release name.
If you want to fake the install to think it is installing on a ES system
change the content of
/etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 3 (Taroon Update 1)
