OpenVas 5 Centos 6 ???

Hi All,
Does anyone have OpenVAS5 working fine on Centos 6?

I am getting a errors in the logs such as:

gather-package-list.nasl which could not be found, thus this dependency is not considered for execution sequence

Which I found this URL for except I have no idea what he means?

http://seclists.org/openvas/2012/q1/171

Also when it tried to log:

append_log_message: Failed to add report detail for host

The reports I get are very blank...

Has anyone installed OpenVas 5 on Centos 6, with no issues, or is everyone just using it with Backtrack?

Thanks

AFAIK it means somebody is working on fixing the issue?

Hmm. That issue was on the mailing list recently as well. "Work in progress" is the only classification that comes to mind.

* BTW from reading the mailing list it seems OpenVAS has a demo (VMware?) image. I don't know if you (can) run virtualization, it could be an option?
