OpenOffice Writer: how to have it count spaces too?
Hi!
I use OpenOffice Writer and its function "Word count". But this function counts only signs but not the spaces. I work as a journalist and get paid by counting all signs spaces included. Is there any possiblity to configure this function to have count everything inclusiv spaces?
thanks.

My OOo (2.2.1) counts words AND characters, and characters include spaces (I've checked that). Which version are you using?
