openoffice.org writer --multilple people edit a doc?

w/in ms word you can set the document so multiple people can have the document open and edit it. i cant find this option in writer. is this possible?

Do you want multiple people to be able to open the document *and* edit it simultaneously, or do you want multiple people to be able to open it with read/write access?

You can change the permissions on the file, if you only need multiple people to have read/write access.

i want multiple people to be able to open the document and edit it simultaneously. everyone who should be editting it has access at the linux file permissions level.

i found out this is in the works for a future release..
