Hello -

I am using software on SuSE Linux 9.0. It takes a long time (45-60+ seconds - seems like forever!) for the word processor application to start. Is this typical, or is there something wrong with my software/system configuration?

Thank you!

Mine takes about 8-10 seconds on a 2.6 GHz machine with 768 MB of DDR RAM. What are your system specs?

Good day!

mine takes about 15s to load on 2.2 ghz cel/384mb ram, running gaim, firefox, thunderbird, and a few other apps.

TOOLS-->OPTIONS-->MEMORY-->increase it from 9mb to 30mb in the 'use for'
