OpenOffice insert formula disabled

Hey every1. I am trying to prepare a paper with many mathematical symbols and equations in it but insert->object->formula in my openoffice.org writer is kinda disabled. It's there but not clickable. Any idea why is that?

Hi

this may be a silly question, but when you installed Open Office, did you check the
install Math? I dont remember if it was selected by default or If im wrong on this
part.

Mine works the way you indicated, but it seems I remember something about Math
not being selected by default.

You're right. Haven't installed the math package. Now it's ok.
