OpenOffice Calc export chart to image file?

Just wondering how I go about doing this? I have a chart in OpenOffice (under Linux) which I wish to create an image file from (JPEG, GIF, etc.) for later use in a MS PowerPoint presentation under windows.

I created a chart in one of my spreadsheets and for the life of me can't find any way to export the chart alone, or save it alone, in any form. The built-in help file doesn't seem to offer a way, either. It's hard to believe it can't be done...

Have you tried the OpenOffice.org forum or FAQ for this? If I get a chance I'll do so later today. If I find out anything useful, I'll report back, but for the moment I'm stumped.

OK, here are two leads. First a complex one:

and now one that sounds simpler (assuming you have the Draw component installed):

Hope this helps!
