OpenOffice auto open file

I have added an icon to thetask bar which opens OO, in Kate you can turn
on a setting to automatically open the last file saved. There doesn't seem
to be such a setting in OO, but can I add the name of the file to open,
in the properties(of the icon), application, command. And if so, how would
the syntax read.

Thank you, John Grinham

You can use something like:
Code:
/path/to/soffice document.odt
