openldap and berkly DB

hi i am just installing open ldap on my slackware 10 server and during the ./configure proccess i get the following error

checking for Berkeley DB version match... Berkeley DB version mismatch
expected: Sleepycat Software: Berkeley DB 3.3.11: (July 12, 2001)
got: Sleepycat Software: Berkeley DB 4.2.52: (December 3, 2003)
no
configure: error: Berkeley DB version mismatch

from my understanding of this it needs the berkly DB 3.3.11 but i have version 4.2.52, does this meen i need to uninstall berkly DB an put an older version on to work with ldap?

thanks in advance for any help

hehe...thanks from me too. I was getting frustrated trying to compile openldap too cos that's needed for Konstruct.
