hi all,
I use gaim to chat on yahoo....but how do u get to open already registered chatrooms using it.................
There's an option of joining a chat but u have to provide the name of the chatroom... how do u know what to enter there as giving the name of the chatroom just creates a new room and logs u into it as the only active member...
I know there is another chat client gyach which provides a GUI to access the chatrooms in Yahoo but i am unable to use it as i am behind a firewall and till now gyach does not provide proxy support..
Gaim makes its own chat room cause it supports being in a private room with someone else who wants to join you, not logging into the main yahoo chat rooms.
However, if someone you know was in a chat room, you should be able to join them, you just wont be able to change rooms.
