Opening Previous Slrn Newsgroup

Hi

I'm using slrn to read news groups from a server.

After creating a jnewsrc on first use,

Code:
slrn -f jnewsrc --create
and reading some news groups, I save to jnewsrc using
Code:
X
within slrn then I quit.

I'd like to load the progress that I have just saved i.e which posts i've read etc.... And well I'm having problems.

If I run
Code:
slrn
slrn loads but shows no news.

If I run
Code:
slrn -f jnewsrc
slrn loads but shows no news.

the .slrnrc is configured to use 'jnewsrc'

I've read the man page. What am I missing?

Thanks in advance for your time

Can you see the groups without unread articles by pressing the 'l' key from within slrn?
