OOo Font Question

On my laptop I am dual booting with Windows 2000 and Slackware. I like using Open Office to wordprosess etc.. However I feel that the fonts that come with it are rather poor. I would like to use Times New Roman (since it is my favorite font which I have used for years!).

Is there anyway of transporting Times New Roman from Windows and adding it into the pool of fonts that OOo uses? - I will appreciate any help.

Thanks

Laurence
