One question about fluxbox and its toolbar

Well, I have already installed the newest fluxbox (0.9.8) and I've got following problem:When I click on application's name on toolbar, it maximizes. But when I want to minimize it also using app's name on toolbar , window is still visible and doesn't 'go to the toolbar', I mean it doesn't maximize. I have to use this small button with a line on the top right corner of the window and it's terrbile for me, because I have to move my cursor over whole screen ;-).It should work as in M$ Windows or other LX window managers.

well i am not sure what you really trying to say ...
but what i did understand is the part you mention about the button with the line (minimize button to be more jargon savvy) and my question is?
is your monitor like 80 inches? cause it isn't all that far of a movement to hit that little button with the line in it ?

the reason i don't understand is cause i know i use flux also, and when i open the screen for whatever it is, i know it is not still in my toolbar ... until i do minimize it ...

if you need to get it off your way, you don't have to minimize it...double-clicking the title bar probably shrinks the window so that only the titlebar is visible, and double-clicking again brings it back :)

EDIT: I guess the newest (stable) is 0.1.14? at least that's what I'm running..

Why minimize? I never need to, myself and it is a major reason I chose fluxbox.

I set my fluxbox up with sloppy focus and autoraise, so that when I open a window, I tab the windows together. I then alt-tab through them, or if I happen to have the mouse in my hand, I just slide it over to the window tab I wish to focus and use.

If I couldn't find something that worked better than Microsoft Windows operations, I think I would stick to what I wanted instead of trying to make fluxbox work like a piece of clucky, buggy <censored>.
