I have recently upgraded my Fedora 15 to 17. I use Gnome. Now, after a reboot, the first time I try to log in, it always comes up with the rather uninformative (ie as useless as Windoze messages were, last time I looked many years ago) "Oh, no! Something has gone wrong" message. I click on 'Log out' and try again. The second attempt works fine.
I have tried to discover where the reason for this failed login is being logged, so I can see what has caused the "Oh, no" message, but none of the logs under /var/log seems to contain any relevant information. Obviously, an error has triggered the message, but what is it and where is it being logged?
I have asked this question at Fedora Forum
, but no replies have helped. I have also logged it as a bug
Any help would be appreciated.
