Official Gimp forum

Good afternoon

I am trying to learn Gimp to do some photographic work. Well I downloaded the Gimp manual and it seemed kind of dated, since some of the stuff it was talking about was no longer there. I am working with Gimp 2.2.4. I also went looking for the official Gimp forum and couldn't really find that either. The only real way to contact the developers is to put in a Bugzilla report. On everything I looked at either the register screen didn't work, or there was no place to register. I found some tutorial sites, which I will check out. Anyone who could offer suggestions about learning Gimp for the uninitiated would be very much appreciated. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

How about the Gimp User Group. Articles, tutorials, etc. Good luck with it

Thanks for the response. Yes, I took a look at that one. It has a login but nowhere does it plainly tell you how to get a login. No register link, or anything like that. That was one of the sites I was mentioning that I would have to take a closer look at. Thanks again.
