ODS-2 file reader (file transferring from VAXstation3100 to linux)
I am running red hat AS 4.3 and an old vaxStation 3100. I have an external scsi hard drive that I have been able to move files onto from the vaxStation. When I connect the drive up to my machine running redhat, the machine recognizes the drive is there, but will not mount it saying there is no partition on the drive.
After doing a little bit of research I found a tool that is supposed to allow me to mount an ods2 disk to a unix machine called ods2 v1.3 by Paul Nankervis. Whenever I try to mount the drive with this program I get an error 92, which I can't find anywhere what that means.
Is there a newer version of this software? Something else that will do the same thing? Or any other way to move files from a vaxStation to a linux machine?
There seems to be very little resources online for this kind of thing, and any help is much appreciated.
