odd NFS mounting problem

I have a Linux NFS server that has two NFS mount points. Up until today everything worked fine, but now when I try to mount one of them, I get a "permission denied" error. The other mount still works, though.

The entries in /etc/exports are the same for both, and both appear when I do "showmounts -e". I have restarted the NFS daemon several times.

The output to /var/log/messages when I try to mount is:

Feb 28 12:54:30 tux49 rpc.mountd: authenticated mount request from 192.168.3.71:681 for /home/metrics (/home/metrics)
Feb 28 12:54:30 tux49 rpc.mountd: getfh failed: Operation not permitted
(tux49 is my NFS server)

Also, the NFS clients that already have that mount point mounted, can still access it fine.

Any help in troubleshooting this would be much apreciated.
