Odd email every day

I am receving this email every day what is with this?

Quote:

/etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
error: exim4-base:8 unknown user 'Debian-exim'
run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate exited with return code 1
and how do i stop it?

Your cron daemon is telling you it had a problem with rotating your syslog. /etc/cron would probably be a good place to start looking for config options.

what is cron

also i lost all my users so would cron have a users that i have to remake?

cron is a daemon that you use to run tasks at a predetermined time.

cron usually runs as a user, which one depends on your setup. It looks like yours expects "debain-exim" to exist...
