odd Apache 404 error

Hi folks,

I have a folder under a vhost with some files in it. The vhost works perfectly.

It's index is index.php, which apache returns as a 404. However, if I make an index.htm, the URL works perfectly. The file permissions, group, and owner are exactly the same.

Any ideas?

i'd assume that the DirectoryIndex value doesn't have index.php rigged up as a valid index file.
